This design fulfilled the requirement of grasping a variety of different diesel engine cores and rotating them for disassembly. 

Advantages were “No bolt” attachment, Safety, Reduced operator fatigue and increased production. 

The design incorporates hydraulics to grip the work and rotate.  If power should fail grasping cylinder is held in place by a cylinder brake.

The use of this equipment has reduced the number of workers to one and increased through put with less operator stress.
