ELECTRIC MOTOR WINDER AUTOMATION REBUILD

This project required a complete machine strip down and over haul of existing gear case.  From here all new design to handle the stator core, fabrication of tooling and guarding.   

Old relay controls and limit switches were replaced by PLC controls and solid state limit switches. 

Areas requiring new tooling designs were stator in and out feed, automatic loop pull and cut and hold wire handler.  Shrouds automatic insert and remove.   Shrouds and shroud holding device, and winding wire guides. 

Machine runs unattended loading stator cores, installing shrouds, winding of core, wire cut and hold, unload of core and reload of empty core.
