An electric motor manufacturer requested our assistance in designing and building a machine to pull motors from a blind sleeve.  The machine was to accommodate various lengths of sleeves and pull the motor stator from the sleeve where it was pressed and staked in place.  The machine was to be capable of set up with no loose tooling and easy to operate.  The cost was also a factor.  The machine was to be used as a salvage operation so both stator cores and sleeves were to be separated undamaged.

Machine design incorporated hydraulics and a SERVO set up system.  An expanding collet was used for a stator I.D.  Machine operator instructions are posted at the machine for operator use.
