ADJUSTABLE SKEW ROTOR FIXTURE

In the manufacture of electrical motors it is necessary to skew the rotor’s laminations.  Each motor size and type requires a special skew.  This means hundreds of fixtures to obtain these various skews are needed requiring a large capital investment.

In order to relieve these demands an adjustable skew fixture needed to be designed.  We developed the tooling that allows an unlimited number of skews.

Benefits include no fixture change outs required, no need for multiple fixtures, storage of multiple fixtures eliminated, new skew angles can be done without investing in new fixtures, easily maintained, skew angle change over in less time.
