ELECTRIC MOTOR ROTOR TESTER

A fractional horsepower electric motor manufacturer was looking for a means of testing its rotors prior to assembly.  They were looking for a low cost tester that was very user friendly and supplied repeatable results.

Tests were to be made in a few seconds so fixturing needed to be easy to use.

By subjecting rotors to a fixed magnet field the reaction to this magnetic field could be monitored and input into a PC program.   This special program would be used to establish parameters by specific part numbers.  This data base would then be used when testing and comparing rotors.

Low cost, rapid testing and consistent results are clear advantages of our rotor test system.
