When engine blocks are repaired and a bolt or dowel hole location is lost due to the repair, then it takes a lot of measuring to reestablish the proper locations or a hole jig must be built.  Hole jigs are fine for areas that consistently reoccur, but for those odd ball’s what can you do?

To answer this question we designed the hole transfer system.  Basically the system consists of various angle blocks, rods and bushings.  The system is set up on a good block and simply transferred to the repaired block.

Benefits include: more accurate hole locations, faster than measuring, very versatile.
