DIESEL FUEL PUMP COUPLER ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY

Diesel fuel pump couplers have two small pins through a metal disk.  These pins must be removed and new pins inserted before their reuse in the fuel pumps.  The pins must be pressed in at a precise distance to be a good part.

This project required some very creative thinking to remove the pins and install new ones.  The tooling had to have good longevity and simple to use.  The tooling designs were careful to conform to these requirements.

The use of air as the only power source makes this set of machines easy to hook up and maintain.

Benefits include:  accurately placed pins, very user friendly, auto unload, production output increase and worker fatigue eliminated.
